OUR MISSION
Enriching neighbors’ lives and enhancing dignity by providing food security and abundant resources.
OUR PURPOSE
Our clients live at 200% or below the national poverty income level, which means, that for a family of 4, they earn up to $60,000 per year.
We are a designated Healthy Food Pantry, and more than 80% of the groceries we distribute are healthy, minimally or unprocessed foods.
We are one of the few pantries that provide School Break Meals, ensuring every child has enough food to sustain them during school closings- one week or more.
We provide education and connections to multiple social service agencies and organizations.
The Neighborhood Center of South Lake is more than a food pantry; we are one of the few designated Healthy Food Pantries; we are a Family Stability Center; we work holistically with clients and partners to help families change their future.
How Can We Be There For You?
Life should be more than “getting by.” Nourishing resources from fresh, healthy food options to financial assistance planning and education opportunities help our community stay sound of mind, body, and spirit and prepare them to thrive. Learn more about the different assistances we provide.
Greater outcomes come from sharing knowledge and resources, and we are eager to partner with individuals and organizations that share a passion for helping the South Lake Community. Learn more about the several ways we need your help!
