Empowering a Healthy Community

SERVING SOUTH LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA

OUR MISSION

"Enriching neighbors’ lives and enhancing dignity by providing food security and abundant resources."

OUR PURPOSE

Because No One Should Go Hungry

Our clients live at 200% or below the national poverty income level, which means, that for a family of 4, they can earn up to $62,400 per year.

We are a designated Nutritious Food Pantry; more than 82% of the groceries we distribute are healthy, minimally or unprocessed foods.

We are one of the few pantries that provide School Break Meals and Snacks, ensuring every child has enough food to sustain them

during school closings of one week or more.

We provide education and connections to multiple social service agencies

and organizations.

Why we stand out

The Neighborhood Center of South Lake is more than a food pantry;  we are a Family Stability Center; through education and tangent services,  we work holistically with clients and partners to help families become self-sufficient.
